ABOUT US => Bus Service

Bus Services

The American Mission Community Association (AMCA), an association of the American Embassy, operates and manages a bus service for the Diplomatic community. For more information please contact the AMCA General Manager through the US Embassy.

The school also runs its own bus service for non-diplomatic students. For more information about this service, please contact Faith Dube at the school. Fdube@aislusaka.org.

In both cases, students are picked up and returned to their own houses. There are buses at various times in the afternoon to cater for those attending after school activities.

The prime-motivating factor for the bus service is to provide the safest bus transportation for our children.  The attached AISL/AMCA BUS RULES and PARENTS GUIDELINES are intended to fulfill that goal.  It is important that parents discuss these bus policies with their children.  Our children must realize the importance of safety for themselves, their fellow classmates, and the bus drivers.  They must also be fully aware of the consequences should they fail to follow these guidelines.
