ABOUT US => Bus Service

Bus Services

The American Mission Community Association (AMCA), an association of the American Embassy, operates and manages the bus service in cooperation with the American International School of Lusaka.   The AMCA General Manager is directly responsible for management of the bus service.  Any inquiries, comments and/or criticisms should be addressed directly to the AMCA Manager, telephone number 0211 250955, extension 249, email address amca@zamnet.zm.

The prime-motivating factor for the bus service is to provide the safest bus transportation for our children.  The attached AISL/AMCA BUS RULES and PARENTS GUIDELINES are intended to fulfill that goal.  It is important that parents discuss these bus policies with their children.  Our children must realize the importance of safety for themselves, their fellow classmates, and the bus drivers.  They must also be fully aware of the consequences should they fail to follow these guidelines.

Please note that the American International School of Lusaka DOES NOT assign bus services. If you have not joined the bus service and wish to apply, please contact the AMCA manager at the above-mentioned number and submit the application form.
