Director's Welcome

Welcome to the American International School of Lusaka. I appreciate your interest, and hopefully this website will provide you with a glimpse of our academic programs and our school community in general. AISL is situated on over 40 acres on the outskirts of Lusaka. The campus is purpose built and there are construction plans for expansion in the near future. It is an exciting time here!

Our school community is warm and friendly, but we take the business of educating children very seriously. The school offers rigorous programs under the umbrella of the International Baccalaureate program. Specifically, the school has a continuum that includes the Primary Years Program (PYP), the Middle Years Program (MYP), and the IB Diploma.

AISL is commited to academic excellence and the highest principles of character. All students are encouraged to be inquirers, thinkers, communicators, risk takers, and global citizens. Students who graduate from AISL are well-prepared for college and beyond.
