Age Requirement

Play school is available for students from 2 – 3 years old and they have the option to attend 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Fridays), or for a full 5 day program.  Children must be 2 years old by 1 September in order to enroll in Play school for the current school year.

Pre School is for students from 3 – 4 years old and is a full 5 day program.

The regular school program is for children aged 4 – 18 years.  The school is organized into two sections:  Primary (4 – 10 years) and Secondary (11 – 18 years).  The Primary section begins with a Pre Kindergarten class, and children must be 4 years old by 1 September in order to enroll for the current school year.  The complete organization of school years is as follows:

Secondary grades are based on the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program, an internationally recognized preparation for entrance to the International Baccalaureate Diploma course (16 – 18 year olds), which provides for university admission worldwide.  Students in Grades 11 and 12 also study for the American International School of Lusaka High School Diploma.
