Age Requirement
Play school is available for students from 2 – 3 years old and they have the option to attend 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Fridays), or for a full 5 day program. Children must be 2 years old by 1 September in order to enroll in Play school for the current school year.
Pre School is for students from 3 – 4 years old and is a full 5 day program.
The regular school program is for children aged 4 – 18 years. The school is organized into two sections: Primary (4 – 10 years) and Secondary (11 – 18 years). The Primary section begins with a Pre Kindergarten class, and children must be 4 years old by 1 September in order to enroll for the current school year. Secondary grades are based on the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program, an internationally recognized preparation for entrance to the International Baccalaureate Diploma course (16 – 18 year olds), which provides for university admission worldwide. Students in Grades 11 and 12 also study for the American International School of Lusaka High School Diploma.
