Sending Grades
Colleges and universities require Mid-Year Grades (Grade 12). AIS will send the grades that you receive in your mid-semester report and your predicted IB grades in addition to your transcript, which contains grades from S4 (Grade 9) to S6 (Grade 11). Occasionally, colleges or universities will request S7 (Grade 12) Semester 1 final grades, or AIS will send them if the college counselor believes this would be beneficial to your application. If you apply through the Common Application group, this is mandatory. These later grades often make the difference between acceptance and denial.
A final transcript of your grades is sent to the college or university where you intend to enroll. You need, therefore, to notify the counselor which institution you have chosen to attend as soon as you send your enrollment fee.
If you apply under an ED or EA policy, your S6 (Grade 11) Semester 2 grades will be sent initially.
Sending SAT Scores
Once you have received your final SAT scores you need to access your account on the College Board website and complete the form requesting that scores are sent to the colleges and universities to which you have applied. The scores are then sent electronically and free of charge to a maximum of eight institutions. You can send scores to more colleges for an additional fee.
Sending TOEFL/ IELTS Scores
TOEFL and IELTS scores are not transmitted electronically. The college counselor will submit these scores for you so ensure that you give your scores to the counselor as soon as you receive them.
