Entrance Tests for Applicants to the US, Canada and other counties

PSAT/NMSQT – Wednesday 14th October 2009 for 11th grade (on request for others)

• AIS will register you for the PSAT/NSMQT test           
• The test is taken at AIS
• Results available on-line in December 2009

SAT I and II            (You cannot take them on the same day!)

• From the beginning of 11th grade, plan a schedule for taking SATs with the counselor.
• Register and practice for SATs at: www.collegeboard.com and for ACT at: www.actstudent.org
• Preparation courses are offered at AISL.
• The tests is taken at AISL.
• On-line registration requires a credit card.

UK Tests

Some universities and courses require that you take additional tests. AISL offer the following UK tests, administered on November 4th 2009:

• BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT)   
• English Literrature Admission (ELAT)
• Thinking Skills Assesment Test (TSA) for the University of Oxford
• History Assessment Test (HAT)
• Sixth Term Examination Papers (STEP) for Mathematics

Register through the College Counselor no later than September 28th 2009.
