After School Activities & Sports
At the American International School of Lusaka, Zambia we offer a balanced programme in both the Primary and Secondary school. We offer both indoor activities and outdoor sporting activities and Zambian cultural activities, we also offer extensive private activities on the school campus.

For Semester one the activities offered for Secondary
Grades are as follows; Tennis, cricket, volleyball, swimming (club and school level), basketball (pre season), soccer (pre season), equestrian club, walking club, chess, International movie club, climbing club, Zambian nature club, Safari guide club, Flying school, SAT’S preparations. |

Sports: Throughout the year we have 3 competitive sporting seasons and as a School we compete in the ISAZ league (Independent Schools Association Of Zambia). The main competitive sports include: cricket, volleyball, swimming (school and club level), tennis, soccer, cross-country, rugby, field hockey, and track and field. We compete in these competitive sports at U/13, U/15 and U/19 age groups for both girls and boys. Our U/19 Girls and Boys Basketball and Soccer teams also travel to Johannesburg, South Africa to participate in Basketball and Soccer tournaments at the American International School of Johannesburg. Our AISL Torpedoes swim club has swimmers who are selected for the Zambian National swimming team and Zambian National Academy and they participate in International swim meets. |

Play Productions: There are two major productions throughout the year one each in the Primary and Secondary sections of the school. In addition the drama department puts on small performances at school events. |
