Every
few weeks there is a club gala which we attend in either Lusaka or the Copperbelt.
There are also 3 international galas which our swimmers might attend.
Galas are usually half a day long.
Events vary per gala, focusing on
both long-course and short-course races (25m and 50m pools,) and various distances
