Greetings and welcome to the website of the American International School of Lusaka (AISL). AISL is situated on a beautiful 23-acre purpose-built campus located on the outskirts of Lusaka, Zambia.
AISL is an independent, non-profit, parent-governed, co-educational day school (Early Childhood thru Gr. 12) that is accredited by two school accreditation organizations- the Council of International Schools and the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, AISL is authorized to deliver the Primary Years Program (ELC thru Gr. 5), the Middle Years Program (Gr. 6-10), and the Diploma Program (Gr. 11-12). As an accredited school, AISL also offers the AISL High School Diploma.

A talented multinational faculty strives to realize this vision by challenging students intellectually and supporting their physical, social, and emotional wellbeing. Working in partnership with parents, AISL encourages students to pursue academic excellence and to develop an appreciation for and understanding of Zambia and the diversity of more than 45 nationalities represented in the AISL community. Tomorrow's diplomatic, business, educational, and scientific leaders are enrolled in our school today.
AISL is a school very much on the move. Committed to continuous improvement, AISL has a strategic plan in place that serves as a blueprint for present and future developments in the areas of teaching and learning, curriculum, facilities, technology, etc. Our mandate is to respond to a rapidly changing world with thoughtful and innovative actions to ensure every student achieves his/her personal and academic potential.
