ISAZ Sports Conference | AISL hosted the 2nd ISAZ sports conference last Saturday. It went very well, with over 40 PE teachers/coaches in attendance. Sessions were offered in Rugby, Netball, Cricket and Hockey followed by a national sports meeting. A big thank you to all the presenters and volunteers who helped pull off this great event.

ISSEA RESULTS | Rugby | ISSEA Rugby team wins! Great job by our coaches Chow-Worn and Lawton as they led their team to some stellar performances as AISL won the championship in a great last game against AISJ! Many thanks to all the volunteers and host families who made the tournament a great success!

SPORTS RESULTS | Well done to our U14 soccer teams who competed in the ISAZ tournament at Baobab this Saturday. Both teams played very well and qualified for the U14 Finals to be played next month! | ISSEA TEAMS | ISSEA weekend is finally here! ISSEA Rugby coming soon! | AISL is hosting ISSEA Rugby starting Thursday next week! Come out and support our teams as they take on their ISSEA counterparts from AISJ- South Africa, ICS- Ethiopia and ISK- Kenya. On Saturday- Feb. 4th we will be hosting a 7's tournament including some schools from the Copperbelt. Don't miss it!

Sports Results | AISL hosted some early friendly matches last week in preparation for the upcoming ISSEA competitions. • The Senior Boys and Girls basketball teams took on some strong competition from the Zambia Youth Basketball League and came up just short in both games. • The Senior boys rugby team lost their first game against the Lusaka Rugby Club but came back and won the second match handily. Their first win of the season!

LISL BASKETBALL | AISL U12, U14 and U16 basketball teams were in action this past weekend at ISL. The U12 & U14 teams have shown good improvement from the last tournament and finished 2nd in their respective divisions. The U16 boys team came 1st overall while the U16 girls didn't have a good tournament and ended up in 4th place. Well done!
