Scholarships

The American International School of Lusaka (AISL)  offers a Merit Scholarship to attend the high school.

Our scholarship program is designed to provide highly capable and motivated Zambian students with an opportunity to attend AISL and earn an American High School Diploma and the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Merit Scholarship Programme

AISL Merit Scholars will be expected to perform at a very high level academically and to participate in a comprehensive co-curricular programme.  

AISL will provide Merit Scholars with full AISL tuition fees, a loaned iPad/Laptop and calculator, all examination and university application fees, university and scholarship guidance, transport to and from school on an established bus route, and opportunities to participate in fully-funded school-sponsored trips in Zambia and overseas.

The scholarship does not include boarding, housing, or financial assistance after leaving the school or beyond that stipulated in the scholarship contract.

How to Apply?

A complete application will consist of all of the following: 

  • Completed Application Form (signed by the applicant and parent/guardian);
  • Copy of the child’s birth record or affidavit;
  • Gr. 9 Junior Secondary School Leaving Examinations (JSSLE) results or equivalent (if taken); 
  • Most recent school report;
  • ​Completed Writing Assignment;
  • Completed Mathematics Assignment.

Note: The Scholarship Admissions Committee is unable to consider applications that are not complete.
