The first Drone Club After-School Activity, hosted by The Global Air Drone Academy happened on Tuesday afternoon! The students will spend the next eight weeks in 'STEAM' (Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) activities utilizing drone technology while simultaneously preparing them for a future full of technological opportunity!
The Global Air Drone Academy said, "we aim to accomplish 3 goals in all of our programming: First, we want to introduce youth to the wonderful world of robotics, drones, and coding. Second, we teach them about the many career and entrepreneurial opportunities that are emerging in the drone industry. And last but not least, we have fun flying!"
They have taught over 6,000 children worldwide, and their workshops have been proven to increase interest in STEAM education and careers. AISL is looking forward to the next eight weeks of exploration!
