This week, Zelio received her first acceptance. This is to study for the Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Lakehead University in Thunderhead Bay, Ontario.
Students in Lakehead’s School of Kinesiology study the science of human movement, physical activity, and their relationship to health, well-being, and performance. The multidisciplinary Kinesiology program explores how the body moves and the psychological, sociological, and cultural factors that influence physical activity in all populations. This breadth of study teaches students to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team, and to deliver the best quality of care in diverse healthcare settings. Lakehead’s balance of in-class and hands-on courses provide its students with the experience necessary to assess movement across the lifespan.
