University of Westminster, UK
Last week, Rohan was accepted by the University of Westminster to study for the Bachelor of Science with Honours in Business Information Systems with a Foundation Year.

Working in the world of information systems can be exciting and rewarding as businesses become more and more reliant on information systems to support innovation, decision making and day-to-day operations. The creative use of information systems can transform organisations. Successful enterprises require hybrid managers and analysts who can evaluate and use the tools, gauge the risks and provide key insights and sound direction for strategic business planning.

This degree course gives students a clear perspective of the current nature and practice of business information systems, and helps to develop their understanding of the business challenges of an enterprise, and their ability to conceive and manage solutions which are increasingly ICT dependent.

Located in the heart of London, the University of Westminster was established 180 years ago as the first polytechnic in London, and one of the first in the UK, established to educate the working people of London. Today it continues to build on this reputation, helping students from a variety of backgrounds to realise their full potential. Westminster supports more than 19,000 students on its undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses from 169 countries. www.westminster.ac.uk
