Discontinuation of Learning Path 2

15/10/2020

Our campus has now been open to students for more than four weeks. Our students and staff members are doing an excellent job of adhering to our health and safety protocols in order to create a safe learning environment. We currently have more than 90% of our students in Learning Path 1 (on-campus learning). Our educational programs are continuing smoothly and we are preparing to add a full slate of after-school activities (ASA’s). In short, we are gradually, and safely, moving toward a more normal school experience.

After careful review, we have concluded that our hybrid Learning Path 1/Learning Path 2 program is not sustainable and does not allow us to provide an optimal environment for the students in either Path. Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue Learning Path 2 on Friday, 6 November. As of Monday, 9 November, all Learning Path 2 students may either join us on campus or switch to Learning Path 3, which is our asynchronous Flexible Distance Learning program. Rest assured that we remain committed to supporting all of our students, whether through Learning Path 1 or Learning Path 3.

Our Primary and/or Secondary School offices will be in touch with affected families to discuss which Learning Path they prefer to follow from 9 November. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact any of us.

We appreciate your patience and support as we strive to provide the best education possible despite the ongoing challenges of this unprecedented global pandemic.
