The Class of 2023 has officially begun their DP journey! They’re learning the ins and outs of Standard Level first-block study halls, and experiencing the DP Advisory system, which is built directly into their rotating schedule. We are so excited to welcome them to Grade 11, and I look forward to guiding them through the next two years. For parents of the Class of 2023 who want to learn more about what Grade 11 is like, we are hosting an online parent information session next week on Monday 16 August from 08:00-09:00 (link here).
Our incoming Grade 12’s now know the ropes and are ready to start wrapping up their Extended Essay, with the first draft for feedback being submitted to their supervisors at the end of August. It’s both a challenging and exciting semester for them as they begin officially submitting Internal Assessments and other coursework in each of their classes. For those of you who may have missed the July announcement, we are thrilled to announce that 100% of our students aiming for the full IB Diploma in May 2021 received their Diplomas! Congratulations, Class of 2021! This was our highest award rate ever, well above the global pass rate of 89%. Considering the challenging circumstances our students faced, this was a tremendous achievement. Some other notable results include:
