29/1/2020

Picture
Congratulations to: Mekyla, Oenone, Michael, Haley, Christina, Nathan, Megha, Harry, Christopher, Madi, Jay, Khizar, Victor, Jan, Alex, Rosie, and Jerry who successfully completed their Silver Practice Exploration from 23 - 26 January 2020! This group of students exhibited tremendous resilience and grit in completing the three-day exploration through rough terrain, collecting data to document the impact of the yearly Elephant Charge on the environment and a nearby community.

“My ultimate dream has been and will always be, to help and mentor young people through some of their most challenging times of their lives, just as my Award Leaders and teachers did for me. My journey with the Award has empowered me to empower others and for that, I will be forever grateful”  - Mwaba Mwila
