What I am excited about this week!
Two-Minute Survey: Parent Information Sessions for 2021-22! AISL is a large organization with a lot of moving parts. The scale of our programs can be daunting to new – and even returning – parents. To help everyone get a better understanding of what we do, we have traditionally hosted a weekly information session for parents on some aspect of our programs. We are currently planning a slate of sessions for the 2021-22 school year and would like to gather some feedback on how we deliver them. Please take two minutes to fill out this survey. SUNY Graduation! AISL has always had a strong commitment to staff professional development. Two years ago, we partnered with the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo to offer a high-quality, affordable, in-person, U.S.-accredited Master’s Degree program hosted on the AISL campus. The program was offered to staff members from all ISAZ schools as well as AISL parents. I am thrilled to announce that our first cohort graduated on Friday at a small ceremony in the Tiyende Pamodzi Theater. The graduates included three current staff members (including Janke Lindeque, and Lunyunge Sinyenga), one former staff member (Monique Chapman), two AISL parents (Carolina Vilalva and Jiayuan Gong) and six teachers from ISL and Baobab. Congratulations to everyone on this impressive achievement! Comments are closed.
