From the Director

31/10/2019

What I am excited about this week…

Trunk or Treat Tickets are SOLD OUT! The PTA’s Trunk or Treat event has now sold out. No tickets will be sold at the door. If you have tickets, please plan to park in the Secondary School. The event will begin with a costume parade at 17:00 and will go until 19:30. There will be trick-or-treating, games, crafts, food, and a cash bar.

Pamodzi Experience Concert on Saturday! We are excited to host the next Pamodzi Experience concert featuring these amazing artists:  Mumba Yachi, James Sakala, Wezi, and Theresa Ng’ambi. Based on the last couple Pamodzi Experience concerts, I can say with confidence that you will not want to miss this one. The concert starts at 18:30 on 2 November in our Tiyende Pamodzi Theater. Tickets are available in the primary and secondary office for K100.

Director’s Coffee Morning on 5 November! Please join me in the Palm Pavilion on Wednesday morning for coffee and an information session. I will provide updates on many areas of interest including IB DP results, MAP results, university acceptances, construction, accreditation, and more. There will also be time for questions.

ISSEA! Congratulations to our ISSEA Volleyball and Track & Field teams. In Kenya, the boys’ volleyball team took 6th place and the girls took 3rd. In Uganda, our Track & Field athletes took home eleven individual medals and ended up with team scores of 5th for girls and 6th for boys. Congratulations to our coaches and scholar-athletes. Go Leopards!
