Sisters Matsumoto by Philip Kan Gotanda is a work of historic fiction set during the WWII era and chronicling the experience of two sisters returning to their family’s farm after spending years in a Japanese-American Internment camp. The other selection for this week is Disappeared by Francisco Stork, a YA mystery / thriller set in Juarez, Mexico.
