Across last week students in grades 6-10 came to the library to explore more than a dozen poetry activities in honor of April as Poetry Month and Earth Day (22 April). Students experimented with many different poetic forms, such as
- Found poetry
- COVID Mask poems
- Impromptu poems
- Diamond brick poems
and many more types! Celebrating the beauty and power of language through poetry is an enriching experience that helps to develop one's creativity and self-expression.
