In alignment with the IB philosophy and protocols, AISL supports the continuous development of multilingualism of our students. Following the success that the AISL Multilingual Program had prior to the pandemic, we would like to relaunch it. Parents and the Multilingual Program Coordinator, working alongside embassies and associations/diplomatic missions, coordinate multilingual (mother tongue) classes located at AISL. The school provides a suggested framework, classroom space, a list of potential teacher contact details (if available), and Modern Language standards to help guide language instructors in delivering content. These instructors are employed and compensated directly by the parents of the students involved in the program, with specific details about frequency, day(s) and timing decided by the families that are part of the group. Please join us to find out further information about the program by attending the Parent Information on Thursday, 17 February from 8:00-9:00. The session will be hybrid. You are welcome to join us in-person in the Protea Room or virtually via the Google Meet link on the Whole School Calendar. If you have any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact our Multilingual Language Coordinator, Elisa Ingles ([email protected]). Comments are closed.
