During the afternoons of Wednesday, 9 October and Thursday, 10 October, we will be hosting Parent-Teacher Conferences for each student from ELC to Grade 5. Although we have had many important, informal conversations during the first weeks of this term, this is the opportunity during the first semester for all of us to celebrate each student’s success and make goals for future progress. In this half-day format, all students will attend regular classes in the morning on the 9th and 10th. School dismissal will be at 12:00 and there are no after-school activities on these two dates. Conferences with your child's homeroom teacher will take place in the teacher's classroom and last for 15 minutes between 13:00-17:00 on both dates. We ask that you collect your child from school at 12:00 and return for your scheduled conference time(s). Should you need to bring your children with you, supervision by our Primary faculty will be in place from 13:00 to 17:00 on the ELC Playground (for ELC and Kindergarten students ONLY) and the Primary Playground (for students in G1-G5) for the duration of the conferences. Please note that there is NO SUPERVISION between 12:00-13:00 on either date. All Primary specialist teachers and student support teachers will be available on both afternoons for additional conferences. An email will be sent to you with the sign-up link. We ask that all parents sign-up for a conference with their child's homeroom teacher first before adding additional conferences with specialist teachers. Please select your conference time(s) by Monday, 7 October. If you have not signed up by this date, we will allocate a time for you and communicate that based on what is still open. If you have more than one child at the school and/or you wish to see multiple teachers, it will be your responsibility to coordinate the times accordingly so that conferences do not overlap. We highly recommend leaving fifteen minutes between each conference so that you can attend all of them on time. As always, if you have any questions or need any further support, please do not hesitate to contact the Primary Office at [email protected]. Comments are closed.
