![]() At AISL, we strive to offer a holistic education that nurtures each student’s social and emotional well-being in addition to the student’s intellectual development. To this end, one component of an AISL education is our Personal and Social Education Curriculum, or PSE. Part of our PSE curriculum focuses on sexual health. These sessions are led by secondary counselor Ms. Julie Baldry, members of the Science Department, Advisors, the school nurse, and other qualified personnel as appropriate. We recognize that given the diversity of our community, each family has its own set of values and beliefs that shape how one wishes to approach some of these topics. If you would prefer that your son or daughter not attend any of the upcoming sessions shared below, please reach out in advance to Grade 11 Advisor Terry Maguire ([email protected]) and she will arrange for your young adult to have self-directed learning time during the session. Disruptions to our schedule as a result of COVID have led us to combine some of this semester’s topics into longer sessions. Our planned dates for these sessions (held during A blocks) are detailed below.
