Hello AISL Middle School Families! All MS students received an email from Ms. Maguire back on 7 April with details for how to post videos to Flipgrid (a safe, secure, private platform) for our upcoming MS Coffee House. In many ways, being at home gives students a chance to showcase more forms of creativity than they might be able to share in the MS Zone- including performances with other family members (bring back those family bands of the 70's!). Here is just a short list of a few forms of creativity students could share via video (and there are so many other possibilities!):
- Musical acts (again, I would be ecstatic to see at least ONE family band post a video!) - Dance acts - Tricks with your dog - Skateboard moves - Swimming moves - Rap - Poetry - Stand-up comedy - Song - Piece of original writing - Juggling - Horseback riding - BMX tricks - Basketball moves - Clip of you cooking and giving tips Performances are limited to 2:30 (two minutes thirty seconds). Lyrics / words need to be clean, school-appropriate, and culturally sensitive. No videos can be recorded in bedrooms. Videos can be made at any point and posted to this grid (due by midnight Central Africa Time Monday 20 April). Students have the grid code (just ask them!). Ms. Maguire will approve videos (so that people cannot see them ahead of time)- and then share them all at noon (Central Africa Time) on Tuesday 21 April. Students can post comments or post video responses on the Flipgrid. Hope to see a lot of creativity shared on the grid! If you have any question, please email Ms. Maguire at [email protected]. l Comments are closed.
