Dear parents,
This week we had the opportunity to share our campus with some visitors from CIS (Council of Inetrnational Schools), MSA (Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools) and of course the International Baccalaureate. It was a great opportunity to share some of the great learning that our kids are doing in classes, as well as to gain valuable feedback on our school improvement processes. Sometimes it can be a hard experience, looking in the mirror as it were, but this week has honestly been an absolute pleasure to have the CIS/MSA/IB teams on campus. I wanted to take my space this week to thank our Accreditation Team leader Ms. Chris Kelly for her hard work throughout this process. Big thanks also to our fantastic students and faculty, who our visitors ,mentioned several times, were pleasant and engaged throughout their observations. One more thing, if you were unable to sign up to attend the school play “Squirrel Girl Goes to College”. A play described by those in the know as, “ridiculous, funny and cute…” You can follow the live feed at the following links: Thursday (day 1) - https://youtu.be/FetdXrZzAAs Friday (day 2) - https://youtu.be/G7Wid4lC1qc Also, and I promise this is the last time I send this reminder: As the Secondary tuck shop is now open during Break and passing periods; and AISL endeavors to be a more green organization, we ask that students please bring their own forks and spoons (no knives), which will need to be brought home and cleaned daily. Have a wonderful weekend! Dr. Rick Odum Comments are closed.
