Dear parents,
Another short week, and parent/teacher/student conferences to boot! I hope that everyone had some fantastic conversations with their children and their teachers this week. Communication and collaboration between teachers, parents and students is essential for student success; and events like what we had on the 7th and 8th allow that to happen. As productive as these meetings can be, please do not think of them as your only opportunity to have meaningful conversations about your child’s learning at AISL. Our faculty is dedicated to the success of their students, and is more than happy to engage in productive communication about the best ways to support them. If you want to speak with a teacher, please email them so that a mutually-beneficial time can be established. I am also available to discuss teaching and learning, as well as any other issues relating to the Secondary school program at AISL. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] Now that the Easter break is over, we enter the final stretch of the school year. Between now and the end of the year, there are two and half months of learning and fun remaining; and while there are some fantastic events planned, such as this Friday’s coffee house, this stretch can be a bit of a grind. So, let’s all be good to each other. Let’s be good to ourselves, and let’s all understand that we are all here for the kids. Have a great week! Dr. Rick Odum Comments are closed.
