AISA GISS 2026
Your Story, Your Voice
In February 2026, AISL will welcome students from across Africa for the AISA Global Issues Service Summit, a three-day, student-led gathering built around stories, purpose, and collective action.
This year’s theme, Your Story, Your Voice, invites every participant to bring their lived experiences, their ideas, and their hopes for the world. The summit gives students the space to connect, collaborate, and explore what meaningful change can look like when young people lead the way.
At AISL, GISS preparation is already part of student life. Our student communications team is shaping the storytelling behind the summit. Other groups are working on community engagement projects, cultural experiences, and well-being activities guided by the Triple Well-Being Framework. The energy on campus grows each week as students take ownership of the event.
So far, GISS 2026 will bring together 280 participants for keynote sessions, hands-on learning, community visits, cultural sharing, and a student-produced film and media showcase. It is a moment for young changemakers to learn from one another, lift each other, and discover new ways to take action in their communities.
We’re proud to host this summit in Lusaka. And even prouder that our students are leading the story.
