Parent class: Wednesday mornings, 8 am to 9 am
February 22 ‐ March 29 Library Conference Room Last semester our AISL Library & Discovery Center piloted a 5-‐part beginner Nyanja class with Uncle Jebby, hosted in the library conference room. A small group of parents took the class Wednesday mornings and a group of teachers took it on Wednesday afternoons. It was such a successful pilot that we’d like to offer it again later this month. The cost of the five‐part class is 400 kwacha, paid in full directly to Uncle Jebby at the first lesson. There is also a modest additional charge for his transportation, divided among the participants. Learning some basic greetings and vocabulary is a wonderful way to connect with the people of our incredible host country. Uncle Jebby integrates cultural material into the lessons, too. There is room for 10 people in the class on a first‐come, first serve basis. Please email uncle7jebby@gmail.com to reserve your space.
