Caution: Creativity in Progress

Strolling down the hallway wondering how many emails I received since leaving my office, the interesting sound of a handsaw at work caught my attention.  Upon entering Ms. Schwarzkopf's grade seven Design class, I was greeted with a wonderful sight, 19 students working on different projects all at different stages of the design cycle.  Each student was tasked to make an innovative item out of used resources.  Some students were penning sketches of their ideas, others were deep into researching their topic, while others were in the midst of creation.  The part that made me smile the most was that the students were so deeply engaged, they were completely unaware of me taking pictures.  I love seeing creativity in progress!
