Irvine was informed recently that his application to study for the Bachelor of Science with Honours in Airline, Airport, and Aviation Management has been successful. Based in one of the world's most exciting capital cities, London Met is home to a diverse community of inspiring and determined learners, teachers, and innovative thinkers.
Designed in conjunction with senior aviation managers, the Airline, Airport and Aviation Management course recognises the demand in today’s international aviation community for graduates with sound business skills and a good understanding of the entire aviation system. Aviation is an exciting industrial sector that ranges from the technological excellence of aviation engineering to the management of global airlines and airports.
In the most recent Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey, 100% of all 2017 graduates from this course were in work or further study within six months. www.londonmet.ac.uk

Irvine has also been accepted to Nottingham Trent University to study for the Joint Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Business Management and Economics. This course trains students to become economists right from day one. They develop their knowledge of the ideas and methods used by economists to support successful business and management.

The approach to engaging with the business world gives a distinctive perspective on decision making, a skill that is in demand by many employers. All students take part in a business simulation tasks, imitating the experience of running a business with a group of fellow students.

In the second year students have a variety of unique opportunities in which to become involved in such as studying abroad, enterprise projects, internships, or continuing with their studies. The course can be studied over three years full-time or four years with a placement.

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has been named ‘University of the Year’ 2019 by The Guardian. The prestigious award comes after NTU received the coveted Times Higher Education ‘University of the Year’ 2017, and the influential Times and Sunday Times ‘Modern University of the Year’ 2018. NTU has also been rated Gold in the UK Government’s Teaching Excellence Framework, the highest ranking possible. www.ntu.ac.uk
