Mohamed has now received his second acceptance to study Architecture. This is from the University of Manchester and for the Bachelor of Arts with Honours. The University is part of the prestigious Russell Group of universities, with outstanding facilities and the widest range of courses. It is highly respected across the globe as a centre of teaching excellence and innovative research.
With 25 Nobel prize winners among Manchester’s current and former staff and students, the University has a history of world firsts and brilliant discoveries, from splitting the atom to giving the world graphene. It is committed to world-class research, an outstanding learning and student experience, and social responsibility in everything it does.
The BA (Hons) in Architecture at the University of Manchester is ranked 7th in the world and 2nd in the UK for Architecture (QS University Rankings by Subject 2019). Architecture sits within the Manchester School of Architecture - a unique collaboration between the University of Manchester and its neighbour, Manchester Metropolitan University. This allows students to use the workshops and studios, study spaces and students' unions across both campuses.
The course is appraised by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute for British Architects (RIBA), and allows students to take the first step to becoming an architect: allowing graduates to gain exemption from Part 1 of the ARB and RIBA professional qualifications. www.man.ac.uk
