What I am excited about this week... 1. Explore Zambia! Across the next couple of weeks all students in Grades 5-8 and half of Grade 9 will venture out on their Explore Zambia trips. These trips allow our students to experience an exciting part of Zambia, bond with their teachers and classmates, and pursue curricular objectives. As you can imagine, these trips bring a very taxing 24/7 supervisory responsibility to teachers. Please be sure to thank them for their commitment to providing these enriching experiences for your children. 2. ISSEA Hosting! As I mentioned last week, we are honored to be hosting this year’s ISSEA Volleyball tournament on 25-29 October. In order to do this, we need to host 140 visiting student-athletes. We are still about 80 beds short. Please help AISL show to our guests the same hospitality that will be shown to our own students when they travel to other schools for ISSEA events. We are asking families to please consider opening your home to two or more visiting students. Please email [email protected] for more details or complete the Volleyball Hosting form here.
