What I am excited about this week…

Parking stickers! If you still have a “P-Temp” temporary parking sticker, please report to the Primary or Secondary office (depending on which school your youngest child attends) to collect your permanent sticker. After 15 November, no temporary stickers will be allowed through the gate. I appreciate your patience as we continue to tighten our access control procedures in the interest of student safety.

Fame, Jr.! Please come out to see this year’s Secondary School Production, Fame Jr. The students have been working very hard for many weeks to create a fun theatrical production based on that old favorite, Fame. Performances will be held on 15 & 16 November at 19:00 and 17 November at 14:00 in the Tiyende Pamodzi Theater.

Understanding ManageBac and OpenApply! If you are still wondering how best to navigate ManageBac and OpenApply, please try to attend next Tuesday’s (13 November) parent information session at 07:30 in the Protea Room.

First Aid for Nannies! Nurse Jennifer will be hosting a first aid workshop for nannies on 17 November from 09:00-11:00.  If you think your nanny could use a refresher course, please sign up by contacting Jennifer at janunsacion@aislusaka.org. There will be a maximum of fifteen participants and the price is K100, which includes tea and snacks.

Trunk or Treat was Amazing! Many thanks to the PTA and all the staff and students who contributed to make this year’s Trunk or Treat a wonderful community event.
