Graduation! The students of the Class of 2018 were honored at their Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, 24 May. This was AISL’s 15th graduating class. It was a beautiful ceremony that featured our band playing Pomp and Circumstance, our choir leading the Zambian national anthem, and Kassidy (Grade 7!) leading the United States national anthem on solo trumpet. Our new poet laureate, Shalizeh, read one of her works and was followed by student speaker, Bilngwe, and faculty speaker, Lionel Honnorat. The ceremony was followed by a lovely reception with light refreshments. Many thanks to Julie Baldry, Sonia Old, and their team for planning such a special event.
