What I am excited about this week…

1. National Honor Society Induction! Congratulations to the newest members of our National Honor Society (NHS) chapter. They were inducted in a ceremony in the PAC on Tuesday, March 14. Membership in NHS is reserved for students who have demonstrated the highest levels of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. To earn membership is a significant achievement. We should all be proud of our new inductees.

2. ZAMMUN! On Saturday, we will host our second Zambian Model United Nations (ZAMMUN). This event will include 112 students from six Lusaka schools working together to solve world problems in a simulation of the United Nations. What is most impressive about this event is that it was entirely planned and coordinated by the students from our own MUN team. Well done!

3. ISAZ U19 National Soccer Championship! On Friday and Saturday our Boys AND Girls U19 Soccer teams will be vying for Xirst place in the ISAZ National Championships at Baobab College. Go Leopards!

4. AISL’s 30th Anniversary Party! This is AISL’s 30th year of offering a high quality international education. Please “save the date” and plan to join us for a fun celebration of this milestone on Saturday, May 6th from 1900 until late!    More details to follow soon.
