NEW PTA TEAM
Exciting news - a new PTA Team has been elected, headed up jointly by Nikki Zeravica as Primary Coordinator and  Mary Krafft as Secondary School Coordinator.

Nikki Zeravica is a former student of AISL and has two boys in the Primary School.  It is fantastic to have a long timer from Zambia on the Team

Mary Krafft has agreed to continue in her role of Secondary Co-ordinator. Mary only arrived in August but really jumped in at the deep end and has worked extremely hard for the PTA since she got here.

Jane Ofakor has taken on the role of Secretary. Jane also arrived at the school in August, is full of enthusiasm and already has made her mark in the community.

Deborah Chibonga has taken on the role of Secretary.  Deborah has been here for 18 months, has children in Grade 4 and Grade 7 with another on the way! 

The new officers for the PTA are:

Jane Okafor - Secretary
Deborah Chibonga - Treasurer

The PTA also established several working committees:
Membership/New Parents: Nicole Bellows and Van Lee
ISSEA Liaison: Cherice Siebert
Senior Spirit/Prom Liaison: Krista Grebenc and Pamela Prince
Primary Committee: Annelise Prent
Middle School Committee: Tracy Barry and Bridget Rathbone
Secondary Committee: Karen Laurenson and Bridget Rathbone

We welcome parents willing to help with any of these committees. The new AISL PTA is looking forward to continuing the outstanding work of the past committee members, and we look forward to welcoming new parents who are interested in becoming more involved with our school. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank a very special group of people for stepping up last year, when the PTA was at risk of collapsing. With the help of Mr Menard, we were able to hold the PTA together and grow stronger as a community within the school. Tracey Ogilvie (Secretary) who has sadly just moved to Mauritius; Lynsey Cummings; Jenny Schepping; Mireille (Mimi) Yiweza; Karina Carrera-Mendoza, Mary Krafft; Nikki Zeravica; Deborah Chibonga and Mandy Yang Sun. These ladies worked tirelessly at every event and got things done! 

We are very grateful that these three ladies decided to stay on the new Team - Mary Krafft; Nikki Zeravica and            Deborah Chibonga.  Thank you ladies for your work last year and for continuing to support the PTA.

Lastly, thank you to the teachers, support staff at school and to the parents, for continuing to support OUR PTA.
