Students from Grade 2 to Grade 10 will begin the fall session for MAP Growth assessments starting on Monday, 3 September. Over the next three weeks, students in Grades 3-10 will complete three MAP Growth assessments in the areas of math, reading and language usage, and Grade 2 students will complete two assessments in math and reading. Data from these assessments will be used by teachers to inform their differentiated instruction, supporting specific skills for each child. Once we have completed all of the assessments, your child's MAP progress report will be available for you to view via your Managebac account. For more information about the MAP Growth assessments, the NWEA's Parent's Guide to MAP Growth is attached. Should you have any specific questions, please feel free to follow up with Darlene Huson, the Primary Principal, or Sheila Seiler, the Secondary Assistant Principal.
