As students from Grade 5-12 bring home devices over the break, we expect the students to continue to be responsible, balanced users - with the help of mum & dad, of course! Here are some recommendations that have been shared with AISL parents through parent information sessions in the past that are relevant for this situation. For more information, resources, guidelines and advice, please visit this LibGuide (with the usual password!). Be the Parent:Ultimately you are in charge; you make the decisions and you set the boundaries - you should expect your child to behave the same online & offline e.g. you would not want your child to talk to a stranger on the street; therefore, he or she should not engage with strangers online.
**Please also note that, as per the signed Acceptable Use Policy, devices are not allowed to be taken out of the country for insurance reasons**
