Grade 10 student Isabel D. visited Ms. Ingrid Turner's Grade 8 Language & Literature class this past week to share a presentation on obsessive-compulsive disorder. Ms. Turner's students recently finished reading Mark Haddon's novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, whose autistic protagonist sees the world through the lens of mathematics and logic. As part of the novel study, Ms. Turner's students have been learning about a wide range of learning differences. Isabel, who published a book about her experience with OCD as part of her MYP Personal Project last month, answered many excellent questions on the topic from students in the class. Thank you, Isabel, for enriching your peers' learning!
