 Last weekend, AISL competed in both the ISAZ Primary and Secondary Track & Field competitions.
In both events AISL produced several notable results. The AISL Primary students finished 5th and Secondary finished 4th out of 16 schools, with several athletes making the qualifying times and heights and distances to allow them to compete at the ISAZ Nationals in Ndola over the weekend of June 3. Sports Awards Evening “The Night of the Leopards” was a resounding success with over 350 Primary and Secondary student-athletes, parents and coaches in attendance. In addition to the coach’s awards and individual team awards for our youngest student-athletes from Grade 1 to our most senior student-athletes from grade 12, the evening was completed with high fives and celebrations all around. Fixtures this weekend: Sat 27 May Saturday 27 May @ Italian School U 14 Boys Hockey Saturday 27 May @ Italian School U 16 Girls Hockey Secondary School CCAs: During Experience Zambia week (Monday 29 May and including Friday 2 June) there will be no Secondary School CCAs.
