Worldfest is coming on 18 April! It is one of the most anticipated days of the year and provides everyone with the opportunity to share their culture and celebrate the diversity of our community. This year we are adding a cultural activities component to the day for secondary students. We are therefore seeking parent volunteers who'd be willing to share any aspect of your culture in any format with small groups of secondary students. This could take many forms, for example: - A cultural dance - A craft - A game - Music - A trivia game If you need supplies, we are happy to help you procure them. Our secondary students are incredibly warm, kind, and polite- so if you have never worked with tweens or teens please don't feel intimidated! We assure you it will be a positive experience. If you are willing to do this, please be ready to do a 25 minute activity 5 times as that's how many groups will rotate through. Please sign up here if you are willing to share an aspect of your culture with our secondary students. If you have any other questions, please contact Terry Maguire (Secondary Librarian) or Tom Potter (Secondary World Languages).
