Dear Primary Families, MAP Testing for Grades 2-5 begins the week of August 28th. Secondary students (G6-10) will also be testing during this time. In order for your child to do his/her best, please make sure he/she gets a good night's sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives to school on time. Grade 2 students will complete MAP Testing in the areas of literacy and numeracy. Grade 3-5 students will complete MAP Testing in Reading, Mathematics, and Language Usage. The tests will happen on separate days with a day or two of rest between each session. MAP Testing results are used internally to help guide differentiated instruction in the classroom for teachers. We will have a Parent Information Session focusing on understanding MAP results on October 10th at 7h30 in the Protea Room. Please join us if this topic is of interest to you.
The Leopard's Tale is our main medium to keep our families informed on such things as the day to day happenings on campus, after school activities, summaries of any arts and sports events, helpful resources, and important dates and reminders.
