Lunyunge Sinyenga, Library Assistant
Hi! My name is Lunyunge Sinyenga. I am excited to join the AISL family as a Library Assistant. I worked in a similar role at the International School of Lusaka and the experience was thrilling. The interactions with students and the staff were mind-blowing. I will always be at your service regarding any library needs that you may have. Let us interact, share and explore your reading interests in the most exciting ways. I am an adventurous guy: I love sports, especially football and basketball, which I played in my high school days. When reading I prefer biographies because I love to get into the lives of people who have made history.  See you soon!

Sam Chabi, Library Assistant
Hi everyone! My name is Sam Chabi. I have been working at AISL for 9 years and in the library as an assistant for the past three years. Working in the library has inspired me to read books for all ages and I love to give recommendations to patrons depending on their areas of interest.

I would describe myself as an adventurer. I like traveling with the view of exploring  new places and going by the saying, “reading can take you to different places”. I have tried to combine both traveling and reading. Hence, to appreciate and respect the culture of people. The pictures of me show some of the places I have recently visited.

Jill Daley, PYP Teacher-Librarian
Hi, my name is Jill Canillas Daley. The students will know me as Ms. Jill. I hail from the tiny state of New Hampshire in the USA. I'm here with my daughter Esperanza, who is in 10th grade. I love all sorts of animals, both domesticated and wild, and have worked with both. Another passion is gardening, which comes from the fact my family owned a greenhouse for over 80 years. I have been in the educational field for over 30 years and have been a preschool teacher, worked in special education, and finally landed in my dream job as a Teacher-Librarian. I am excited to be part of the AISL family and look forward to getting to know the community. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, thoughts, or concerns.

Terry Maguire, MYP & DP Teacher-Librarian
Welcome to AISL, returning and new families! We are thrilled to have you here and are eager to welcome you to the library. My name is Terry Maguire and I am the Secondary MYP & DP Teacher-Librarian. This is my family's 5th year at AISL and our 19th year overseas. I worked for 16 years as a secondary English teacher before becoming a certified librarian 8 years ago- a job I adore! My family and I love Zambia and the school. I enjoy helping people find fabulous reads and also introducing people to new technologies and powerful research tools. When I'm not at work, I enjoy trail-running, swimming, and being with my family, which includes my husband Russ, our 6-year-old twins Ben & Cora, and our young (somewhat naughty!) Rhodesian Ridgeback, Shumba. I read across a wide range of genres but have a particular love of non-fiction survival stories as well as fiction & memoirs set in Africa.
