Movember wrap-up 2020

Movember came to an end this week with our AISL community team, the Lusaka League of Extraordinary Moustaches, raising $850 U.S. to date. The team included our Head of School, Dr. Menard, PTA President Simon Cole, as well as educators across both divisions. Movember is the only global charity focused solely on men’s health. The Foundation raises funds to deliver innovative, breakthrough research and support programs that enable men to live happier, healthier, and longer lives. Awareness and fundraising activities are run year-round by the Foundation, with the annual Movember campaign being globally recognized for its fun, disruptive approach to fundraising and getting men to take action for their health. Despite our moustaches being covered most of the time by our masks, we proudly joined this movement. We recognized it was a strong and fun community builder during a year full of challenges.
