![]() Students at AISL have the wonderful opportunity to participate in a club called Model United Nations (MUN). Tom Potter and Ingrid Turner are incredibly proud to take eleven industrious IB World students to The Hague to debate this week. They will debate topics such as:
Students have to research and prepare a position paper (notes and bibliography). They have to devise an opening speech, they have to create a resolution which includes acknowledging the problems around the issue and what has been done in the past to rectify this problem and then create viable solutions for each problem. Students have to debate using a new set of vocabulary and from the point of view of the country which they have been allocated. They then have to debate in a forum! No wonder we are so proud of them here at AISL! Watch the AISL facebook page for updates! You can find out more about the MUNISH conference using this link: http://www.munish.nl/
