Over the last week or so, all of you will have received a 'checklist reminder' from OpenApply. We want to explain what this is and why it is happening - and why it will continue to happen...!
As explained on the AISL Parent Portal, there are a number of systems that we use within AISL. OpenApply is both the admissions software and student information system for our school. Through OpenApply, as well as applying to AISL, you can also check and update contact details and other family information. Periodically, we will ask you (through a 'checklist reminder') to check and update your details so that we are able to cater for your child's needs in school, understand medical requirements for individual students and successfully contact you in an emergency.
The most recent checklist reminder is to update language details and will take one minute to complete. If your information is already in, all you will need to do is confirm and submit. A medical details update will follow in a week or so.
How to update details on OpenApply
Step 1: Check your email
If you have outstanding checklist reminders, you will be notified via email. Go ahead and click on the link in the email to go directly to the OpenApply login page.
Step 2: Login
You can login three different ways
Step 3: Access Dashboard
Once you are on the dashboard, it will let you know if you have incomplete checklist items. If you have more than one child at AISL, you will be able to switch between them using the dropdown in the top left.
Step 4: Complete & submit checklist items for each child
You will need to click on the checklist item link (in blue) in order to check & update the details in our system and then submit.
**Please note that you may need to 'submit', verify, and then confirm the submission.
