Personal Project

The IB MYP Personal Project process is nearly done! I am sure parents must be bursting with pride at their child's independent learning, resilience, and determination to follow through with this process and produce a product. As you know the Personal Project is the culmination of learning in the MYP and should set students up for success as independent learners with stronger approaches to learning skills in the IB Diploma Programme.

Students will be uploading their Personal Project reports on Monday February 25. They then begin to prepare for the Personal Project Exposition where they display and present their learning.  The Personal Project Exposition happens from the 19th to the 20th March. Students from other grades will get the opportunity to visit displays during advisory on these two days.

Parents of Grade 10 students are invited to come and celebrate and see the displays on the afternoon of Wednesday 20th March from 14.40 to 16.00hrs.

​Parents of Grade 9 students are also very welcome to come along to the Exposition to begin understanding what the Personal Project is all about.

Two other important dates:
April 30: Grade 9 parents are introduced to the Personal Project. (7.30 - 8.30 in the Library)
June 7: Grade 9 students attend a Personal Project Retreat to excite and introduce them to the process.
