This week’s parent resource is a 2011 article that was published in National Geographic about the Adolescent Brain and its uniqueness. Much about the understanding of the brain and how it works has changed since the article was published. Nonetheless, Nat Geo does a magnificent job of taking a complex topic and making it relatable to the layman. This is a great beginner article that can kick off an interest in learning more about how your child’s brain functions.
