Keeping up with your child's media usage can be overwhelming for parents today.  Most of us had to integrate into the digital world and were not born into it like our children.  While we may laud the days-gone-by, we cannot ignore that our adolescents how have easier access to information than ever before in history.  This includes topics and images that they may not be developmentally ready to handle.  That's why it is important for parents to be on top of what their kids are doing online and the types of things they are watching or listening to.  A great resource for all parents is commonsensemedia.org.
