The Show Must Go On! Don't Miss Our Virtual DP Visual Arts Show Next Thursday 7 May!

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our Class of 2020 DP Visual Arts show this Thursday, 7 May, from 17:00-18:00 Central Africa Time. We will celebrate the stunning artwork of students in Ms. Laurey Nevers' class, grouped by a theme each artist has chosen:

• Vale: Relationship to Nature
• Andrea: Wildlife
• Miselo: Identity
• Nibby: Personal Experiences
• Rushil: Pop Art
• Esperanza: Emotion Captured Through Portraiture
• Scout: The Beauty of Hawaii
• Owen: Distortion
• Alice: The Imagined World

Here is the link to the show. Note that you will need to know the password for our virtual library system. The actual art pieces will be visible beginning at 17:00 this Thursday.

Each artist's "About the Artist" slide will include a link to a Google Meet so that you can enter a chat with that particular artist.  The artists will be available for the full length of the virtual show (17:00-18:00 Central Africa Time). If you can't make the live virtual event, you will be able to visit the Virtual Visual Art Show at any point after the live event by using the libguide link and the password (the password is the same one used for the virtual library).

Please attend the show as you will be dazzled by the stunning work these artists have created- on top of all their other DP subjects and commitments! Please congratulate their dedicated teacher, Ms. Laurey Nevers, as well. Hope to see you there!
